Actually, getting older like I am, I fade in and out of reality. For a while I began thinking all of my kids were moving back in with me.
My reaction? Will, a picture speaks a thousand words.
Julie came out...just in time...and yelled "But Randy, Ryan lives in Canada...and he's married!"
I screamed back "Bullshit. He doesn't have a job...I know he'll be back here!"
"No...wait" Julie screamed hysterically..."What about Kyle, he isn't moving back...He has a great job traveling all over the country".
"Bullshit, Again" I screamed. "He is already talking about quitting and starting a business with BILL...BILL for Christ's Sake... Eff it all...I'm jumpin".
"Hold ON" she said sounding exhausted.."Kara is doing great...She has her own Apartment and is going back to school...she hasn't even mentioned moving back here."
"Well", I said "I don't know, I can't tell if I was dreaming or just having a premonition".
"Besides", Julie said "If you jump, how in the hell am I going to make the house payment, pay my tuition to go back to college, buy Nicole another horse, take my trip to see my parents in Wisconsin, shit, how am I going to get my hair done?".
So, there you have it. On the perch, ready to take the leap, but Julie needs her hair done...maybe next birthday I'll get the courage.
